memestockmarket

Why so few

Scarcity here is not a slogan. It is the mechanism that gives every memestock more than one cycle, and it is the opposite of how launchpads usually make money.

Less is more, for the holder

A launchpad that earns fees on every token it mints wants thousands of tokens. Each one gets a day of attention, its liquidity is split from the rest, and almost all of them are dead within the week. That model maximises the launchpad's revenue and minimises the value that reaches any holder.

MemeStock.market keeps the list short and puts it on a calendar, one IMO at a time, days or weeks apart as the clock runs through history. How many there will be in the end, and how they are chosen, is still being decided with the community: it will be few, fewer than the 27 of the first draft, and the first one is already set, BRK.M in 1979. Fewer tokens means every one of them gets the whole community's attention when it launches, a brokerage with skin in the game, and a base currency that does not have to be split a thousand ways. In this design, less is more.

Cycles, like the companies had

The stocks on the calendar did not go up once. Apple had a first boom in the 1980s and a much larger one from 2010 on. Microsoft had its 1990s run and then a second act that started around 2014. Nvidia spent two decades as a graphics-card company before it became the AI trade. The pattern is the rule, not the exception.

A memestock whose basket holds its own company's stock inherits that shape. Spacing the launches gives each token time to go through its own cycles: a first run at launch, a quiet period while the community grows, then the next leg when the company, the launchpad or ₸USD has its moment. Thousands of tokens launched at once cannot do this; a few launched one at a time, with the years after each launch to grow into, can.

Time for the community to catch up

The calendar is also a schedule for the people around it. Brokers need time to form brokerages and build a track record. The community around each memestock needs time to exist at all. And the wider community, around the launchpad and around ₸USD, needs time to understand what is being built: a market that trades against a currency designed to appreciate, inside a meta, tokenized stocks, that is only starting.

No expiry

The companies on the list will be around for decades; some have been around for a century. ₸USD is designed to exist as long as Ethereum does. Nothing here has a deadline. The calendar can only keep going and improve, and if demand ever justifies it, grow very slowly by one broker-proposed IMO a year at most. Roadmap
